We are recruiting for a Quality Engineering Manager for a small medical device company (<100 people) in the cardiovascular space. This is not a “manage from your office” type of role. You will be working hands on with the Quality team to lead, inspire and bring ideas to the table while mentoring the staff. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years medical device experience in the Quality area with 2+ years leadership and people management. This person will be leading a small Quality Engineering team by providing hands-on technical quality engineering support for new product transitions internally and externally into production. This will include development of quality requirements/plans for new products, design/process validation requirements, test method validation and ongoing change management for finished device manufacturing, and statistics.
Ideal candidates will have a 4-year Engineering degree and experience with manufacturing, operations and product development. In addition, startup or small company experience is strongly preferred.
