We have been retained by HistoSonics to recruit a Senior or Principal level Quality Engineer. HistoSonics is a startup in the medical device community with locations in Plymouth MN and Ann Arbor, MI. The team is developing a sonic beam therapy platform capable of destroying tissue at a subcellular level.

You will report to and work closely with the Director of Quality who is seasoned in startup and large company environments. You will be part of a small and growing team where you will focus mostly on Production Support which includes testing/inspection, DHR review, Nonconforming material, complaint analysis, risk management updates. However, being a startup, there are many other hats to wear which includes supporting Design Transfer and Design Assurance.
They are looking for a degreed engineer with 5-6 years’ experience in medical device quality. Biomedical or Electrical background is ideal as the devices are electro mechanical. In addition, the product is non-sterile so you have one less thing to worry about!
Candidates must live in the Twin Cities area as this is a hybrid role. Relocation would also be considered.
