We have been retained by Histosonics, a startup company in the Twin Cities, to recruit a Senior or Principal level Manufacturing Engineer to join a company preparing to go commercial in 2023. The company is developing a sonic beam therapy platform capable of destroying tissue at a sub cellular level.
This is a new role for the company so you will have a strong influence on establishing manufacturing processes. This role reports to the Director of Manufacturing with the initial focus being on Process Development and Design Transfer tasks. You will be working hand-in-hand with development for design of manufacturability and developing the testing requirements and the final specifications for the various pieces of equipment being built. Once initial products are commercialized, tasks will then include production support as well as supporting next gen products in the pipeline.
Candidates must be a degreed engineer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in medical device Manufacturing or Process Development. Electrical background is preferred as the devices are electromechanical but not required. Also preferred is experience with the manufacturing of hardware/capital equipment, Grand Avenue Software eQMS and experience with electrical safety testing requirements per ISO 60601.
Candidates MUST live in the Twin Cities area as this is an on-site role and relocation is not being considered at this time.
